A bit of a 'Stop Press' feel about this update and, partly owing to that, it won't be the only one this week.
We are now in a 4 team league. That's a shame but people who were keen to play were missing out on cricket and getting messed about. That wasn't right and I hope we can now keep the integrity of the competition and the goodwill of those who have been putting a lot into it.
So... what does that mean in terms of on-the-pitch activity?

The revised table now looks like this. The league will now finish on the 18th and we'll have a 4-way Cup on the 25th. These are remaining fixtures.
We're toying with the idea of seeding the draw for the Cup according to league placing - just to add a little more spice to the last few league games. We'll decide and let you know later this week when we'll also update all the individual stats.
Never to be put off planning ahead, we're also thinking about April and will soon start canvassing you all for your availability and interest then. So, still plenty to look forward to over the coming weeks.... and, as always, your views and opinions are more than welcome.
